Learn to Code at the Library!

March 11, 2019 by mcplteam

desktop computerIf you didn’t make it to any of the Maryland STEM Festival activities, don’t despair. Gaithersburg Library has a special opportunity available for kids to learn how to code!

We’re pleased to offer a coding class for kids aged 9-16. CyberInspire Coding will be taught by teen instructors who have volunteered to share their knowledge of Python with younger participants. The class will meet from 7:00-8:30 PM for five consecutive Monday evenings. All sessions will be held at the Gaithersburg Library in the 1st floor Computer Lab, starting on November 19.

No previous experience is needed and the class is free.

There are many great reasons to learn coding. It’s fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment from knowing how to program a computer, create your own games, or build an app!

Space is limited, so register online or call 240-773-9490 today.
