Join us for stories, songs, and rhymes in Spanish and English.

Family Storytime at Germantown – In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month
These 25-30-minute programs are designed to delight children of all ages and are filled with diverse stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination.

Games Unbound – Hispanic Heritage Month Edition – Twinbrook Library

Drop in between 2 pm and 4 pm to paint a colorful one-of-a-kind piece of art in the style of Mexican amate paintings.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month – with Latin Dance Rhythms – Live at Kensington Park Library
Performances by “DanceinTime” and Latin Dance lesson for all.

Bilingual Hispanic fables inspired puppet show presented by the Puppet Co.

Please come join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We will demonstrate step by step how to make a No-Bake Tres Leches Icebox cake.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Salsa/Merengue/Bachata at Aspen Hill Library
Put on your dancing shoes! All Out Danza, a local professional dance studio, will be teaching a family friendly group class. All levels welcome. Come enjoy the music and learn some dance moves.

Mariachi Los Amigos – Music for Hispanic Heritage Month at Wheaton Library
Mariachi Los Amigos is a local music group sharing a passion for the celebratory sound of mariachi music, which originated from Mexico in the 19th century, and is still evolving in the 21st.
