Read Across Generations This Summer

Students going into Kindergarten through third grade can practice their reading skills during the summer while reading one-on one with previously selected volunteers from the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) Heyman Interages Center.

Students can bring their own book or select one from the library. The program will run for 6 weeks, from July 10 to August 18. No pre-registration required for children.

Programa de “Read Across Generations” (julio-agosto 2023) (anteriormente conocido como “Grandreaders”)

Los estudiantes que van a entrar a cursar kindergarten hasta los que cursan tercer grado pueden practicar sus habilidades de lectura durante el verano mientras leen individualmente con voluntarios previamente seleccionados del Jewish Council for the Aging Heyman Interages Center. Los estudiantes pueden traer su propio libro o seleccionar uno de la biblioteca. El programa tendrá una duración de 6 semanas, del 10 de julio al 18 de agosto. Los estudiantes no necesitan registrarse previamente.
