Damascus Library to Close for Renovation

Montgomery County Public Libraries to Close Damascus Library for Extensive Renovations on Friday, Jan. 31, Reopening Expected Fall 2026

The Damascus Library will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, for an extensive renovation project. The library is expected to reopen in Fall 2026.

During closure you can return library items to the MCPL returns box outside of Damascus Community Recreation Center at 25520 Oak Drive or to any of the other 20 MCPL locations.

A weekly storytime program and monthly book discussion groups will be held at the Damascus Recreation Center. Please check the events link for dates and times.
